As relocation assistance programs became more sophisticated, we developed a dedicated department to deal exclusively with relocation matters.

We believe in assisting our clients in whatever way we can to permit them to deliver the highest level of service to their clients – be they corporations, employers, or employees and families. Our team has assisted clients in designing processes and forms for their programs. We regularly work with our clients, real estate agents and any other interested parties to facilitate successful transactions. In recognition of an expanding U.S. client base, some of which have designated us as their single point of contact in Canada, we now utilize a long-standing and well established network of relocation lawyers in every province and territory of Canada. By utilizing this network, we are able to provide our U.S. clients with uniformity in service levels, forms and reporting.

Fleischer and Kochberg was involved in the founding of the Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC) in 1982 for which the firm acted as Legal Counsel for many years. We have had representation at CERC annual conferences every year since its inception, either as participants or as presenters and, with the expansion of our client base to the United States, we have attended CERC conferences every year since 1995.
